Fiber cutter compressor

The PLC-22 Compressor is a high-performance, low-cost, screw-type unit, specifically designed for our range of fiber cutters, and commissioned by our fiber cutter suppliers to work perfectly with our range of fiber cutters.

Although there are bigger capacity compressors, this 22KW unit is capable of supporting cutters up to 6KW laser power. Apart from assembling the filters, this is a “plug & play” compressor that requires almost no setup, and minimal maintenance.

Utilizing an air compressor designed for laser cutting means not having to spend a fortune on gas. One Nitrogen bottle can easily be consumed in 15 minutes of cutting, whereas if you have an air compressor, you just need to turn it on.

For thin mild steel (thinner than 3mm if using a 3KW laser, or 6mm if using a  6KW laser), you can use Nitrogen or compressed air to cut at a much faster cutting speed. For thicker mild steel, you will obviously use Oxygen to cut.

For all types of stainless steel, you can use either Nitrogen or filtered, dry, oil-free compressed air.
